In collaboration with our charity partner Police Bank, NSW Police Legacy presents an evening with the NSW Commissioner for Police Michael Fuller APM, as he speaks on the topic of leadership.
In 2020 the NSW Police Force faced unparalleled challenges that could have crippled their ability to act effectively: the worst bushfires in living memory, storms and flooding and, of course, the one in 100-year COVID pandemic. The NSW Police Force was under extreme pressure from many sides. And at the helm was Commissioner Fuller.
How were the difficult decisions to restrict the movement of citizens managed? What were the shifting challenges to enforcement? How did the Commissioner get an organisation of 17,000 to be agile enough to respond to the changes required? These and many other leadership topics will be covered.
