Computers are amazing. Digital communication has kept us connected for the last two years. But let’s get real for a moment. Screens can only take you so far, especially when you’re a kid. This Christmas, why not give the gift of reality?
We’ve all struggled during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s been especially tough on children taken out of their natural environment – whether that’s playing around in the school yard, hanging out at the park with friends, or being involved in organised sport. Vital development time mixing with peers has been lost. And that’s why we’re inviting you to help get our young Police Legatees to our January Kids’ Camp.
We have a wonderful program set up at the Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre, and the kids’ days will be packed with activities – everything from abseiling to making damper, from raft building to bivouacking. With kids coming from all around the country, this will truly be a chance for them to update and recharge – all without a cable in sight!
